What a Technical Writer at Landoop brings:

As a Landoop Technical writer, you will bring passion for excellence and strong IT knowledge to write for a highly technical audience. The ideal Technical Writer at Landoop will be a real problem-solver team player with a hands-on mindset and attitude. You will be responsible for detailed product documentation for internal and external use, ensuring that all technical documentation is clear, concise and maintained on an ongoing basis. The documentation created will be used by our customers to evaluate our product so it is critical that it is well presented, detailed and comprehensive.

A Day for our Technical Writer at Landoop includes:

  • Planning and delivering detailed product documentation
  • Developing technical specifications
  • Managing and maintaining a catalogue of product documentation to be reused for multiple scenarios
  • Support production releases, documentation of new features and products

The ideal Technical Writer at Landoop must have:

  • Excellent spoken / written communication in English
  • Ability to own, plan and monitor a project (design, implement, support, etc)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and accurate documentation for software developers, architects and other highly technical audiences
  • Understanding of APIs, application flow and logic
  • Experience with containers (docker), virtualisation and/or cloud technologies (Kubernetes and/or Cloud providers) is a major plus
  • Experience with distributed systems Kafka and/or Hadoop is a major plus
  • Knowledge of monitoring systems and frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) is a major plus
